Our U3A is a registered charity in its own right with a proper constitution.
Ilkley and District U3A is a member of the Third Age Trust, which is the central U3A organisation based in London.
We are run entirely by volunteers - nobody, including the group leaders, is paid.
There is a central committee of trustees which meets about 9 times a year.  The members on this committee are listed below.
There are further sub-committees, like the Finance sub-committee, composed of smaller numbers of people.  Once a year in the Autumn we hold an AGM to which all members are welcome.

We have meetings for leaders from time to time when new ideas for organising groups etc are discussed.
Every 3rd Saturday in the month we have a meeting for all members in the Clarke Foley Centre usually with an outside speaker.  Once a year, in the Summer, this session is used to Meet the Leaders.
