Ilkley U3A, the Birth
It is always interesting to hear how familiar organisations came into being. Alan Kay, a founder member of Ilkley U3A, has written a short account of its first year for the record. Click HERE to view.
Monthly meetings at Clarke-Foley Centre
These are held for members on Saturdays from 10.30 till 12 noon. Sometimes there is a speaker, or there may be a quiz or a presentation from one of the courses. At the meetings you can meet with old friends and make new ones. The entry charge is £1 and includes tea/coffee and biscuits.

On Sunday, 28th October, Ann Cryer M.P. opened the Tenth Anniversary Celebrations and said how impressed she was with the number of courses available and “If I had the time there are at least ten I would like to join”..
